Port Huron, MI - The SC4 men's soccer team delivered a dominant performance on Wednesday, defeating Lake Michigan College 8-0 in a conference matchup at home.
SC4's offense was relentless from start to finish, with eight different goals scored by five players. The scoring began in the first half with goals from Jules Dufour (24:02), Arnau Alfaras (17:57), and a couple from Miodrag Vasovic (25:31, 32:07). Gabriele Catterina added another before halftime at 38:27.
The second half belonged to Sailan Rabord, who completed a hat-trick with goals at 46:53, 65:13, and 76:04, showcasing SC4's depth and attacking firepower.
Assists were spread across the team, with contributions from Javier Garcia Tunon, David Marku, Luis Carlos Farinas, Matteo Mignano, and Shuya Kato.
SC4 outshot Lake Michigan College 27-2 in shots on goal and dominated possession throughout the match. Lake Michigan goalkeeper Gabe James made 8 saves, but the Skippers' offensive pressure proved too much.
With this win, SC4 continues its strong season and looks ahead to a matchup for first place in the MCCAA at Schoolcraft College on Wednesday, October 22. Kick off is set for 2:00 PM.
