Port Huron, Mich. — The SC4 softball program is proud to recognize several student-athletes who earned postseason honors from the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) following an outstanding season.
Freshman standout Katie Rusher headlined the group of honorees, earning All-MCCAA recognition, First Team All-Eastern Conference honors, and a selection to the Eastern Conference All-Freshman Team. Rusher's exceptional performance throughout the season established her as one of the conference's premier players.
In addition, Jenna Maday was named to the Second Team All-Eastern Conference, recognizing her consistent contributions and strong play throughout the season.
SC4 also had three athletes earn Eastern Conference Honorable Mention honors:
"I'm incredibly proud of this group and the recognition they've earned," said Head Coach Courtney LaBuhn. "Each of these student-athletes played a critical role in our success this season, and it's great to see their hard work and dedication recognized by the conference."
