SC4 Women’s Bowling Finishes Strong at NJCAA Region 12 Championship

LANSING, MI. — The St. Clair County Community College (SC4) women's bowling team delivered a resilient and competitive performance at the NJCAA Region 12 Bowling Championship held at Royal Scot Bowling Center in Lansing, earning a fifth-place team finish with 6,233 total pins.

Leading the Skippers was Mercedes Berube, who posted an impressive 1,230 total pins, securing the top score among SC4 competitors. Close behind was Haylee Hodges, who contributed 1,226 total pins, reflecting a steady and consistent series throughout the event.

Lana Cooper added 1,101 total pins, while Madison Hayward recorded 1,064 total pins in a determined outing. Rounding out the lineup, Trista Singles tallied 1,048 total pins, helping solidify the team's overall placement in a challenging regional field.

The five-athlete roster combined for 6,233 total pins, earning SC4 a strong fifth-place finish against competitive programs from across the region.

The Region 12 Championship marks the end of an impressive season for the Skippers Bowling team.
