Saginaw, MI. — The St. Clair County Community College (SC4) Women's Track team capped off the indoor track season with an impressive slate of personal records and a new school record performance, highlighting the continued growth and strength of the Skippers' program.
Freshman sprinter Elaina Stadelbauer delivered strong results in the short sprints, placing 20th in the 60‑meter dash with a time of 9.37 and 13th in the 200‑meter dash with a 32.42 finish.
The 400‑meter squad produced some of the biggest highlights of the meet. Julia Rogers and Lauren Fowler both recorded personal bests, with Rogers running 1:05.91 for 13th place and Fowler posting 1:06.88 for 16th. Rogers' time now ranks her No. 2 all‑time in Skippers history, while Fowler moves into the No. 3 all‑time position—marking a historic day for SC4's quarter‑milers.
Both athletes returned for the 800-meter run, where Rogers finished 18th in 2:40.93 and Fowler placed 21st with a 2:44.76 effort.
The night concluded with a standout performance from distance runner Brynn Hurley, who shattered the school record in the 3,000 meters. Hurley won her heat and finished 12th overall with a time of 10:59.75, breaking the 11‑minute barrier and securing the fastest 3,000‑meter mark in program history.
The Skippers now turn their attention to the outdoor season, carrying momentum from a winter of steady progress and new program milestones.
