Riley Robertson Named MCCAA Eastern Conference Defensive Player of the Week

Port Huron, MI - Volleyball standout Riley Robertson has been named the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) Eastern Conference Defensive Player of the Week, recognizing her exceptional performance and consistency on the court.

Robertson, a libero for the Skippers, has anchored SC4's defense with elite-level play, leading the MCCAA in digs per set (4.31) and ranking first overall in total digs (151). Her ability to read the game, cover the court, and keep rallies alive has been a key factor in SC4's undefeated conference record (8-0) and overall 17-4 season.

In addition to her defensive dominance, Robertson has contributed 15 service aces, averaging 0.43 aces per set, and has maintained a .400 hitting percentage, showcasing her all-around impact.

This recognition highlights Robertson's leadership, work ethic, and the vital role she plays in SC4's success. The Skippers continue their push toward a conference title with Robertson leading the back row.
