Cedar Rapids, IA — The SC4 women's volleyball team showcased grit and determination on the opening day of the NJCAA National Championship in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
In their first match, the Skippers upset No. 14-seeded Neosho County Community College in a thrilling five-set showdown. After falling behind early, the team rallied. The game was ultimately decided on a 14-14 challenge from head coach Michelle MCulloch.
The second match of the day brought a tough test against No. 3-seeded Parkland College. Despite a strong effort, the Skippers fell in straight sets to the nationally ranked powerhouse.
They continue their National Championship trip on Thursday, November 20.
