Port Huron, MI — The SC4 volleyball team delivered a dominant performance this weekend, capturing the championship title at the Buffalo Wild Wings & Corktown Pizza Timberwolves Quad.

The Skippers opened the tournament on Friday with a decisive 3-0 victory over Milwaukee Area Technical College, winning sets 25-21, 25-15, and 25-16. SC4 carried that momentum into Saturday, where they battled back from a two-set deficit to defeat Kankakee Community College in a thrilling five-set match (23-25, 22-25, 25-22, 27-25, 15-6).

In their final match, SC4 sealed the tournament win with a commanding 3-0 sweep of North Central Michigan College (25-21, 25-16, 25-19), showcasing their depth, resilience, and team chemistry.

Three Skippers earned individual honors for their outstanding play. Addison Bolen was named Tournament MVP for her consistent leadership and ability to move the ball around the court to set up her teammates, while Breanna Gentner and Brooklynn Haack were selected to the All-Tournament Team.

"This weekend was a true testament to our team's heart and determination," said Head Coach Michelle McCulloch. "Every player stepped up when it mattered most, and I couldn't be prouder of how they represented SC4."

The Skippers will look to build on this momentum as they continue their hunt for the MCCAA Eastern Conference Crown.

Their next game will be at Schoolcraft College on Wednesday, October 22. The start time is 7:00 PM.
