PORT HURON, Mich. — The St. Clair County Community College (SC4) women's volleyball team has captured a share of the MCCAA Eastern Conference Championship, capping off a dominant regular season and earning the East #1 seed in the upcoming Great Lakes District A Tournament, scheduled for November 6–8 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. They can clinch the outright championship with a win at Jackson on Wednesday.
As a result of their conference title, the Skippers will also host the MCCAA Championship on Saturday, November 1 at the SC4 Fieldhouse. The semifinal match is set for 12 p.m., with the championship game to follow 30 minutes after.
"This team has shown incredible heart and determination all season," said Michelle McCulloch. "Winning the Eastern Conference and earning the top seed is a reflection of their hard work and unity. We're excited to host the MCCAA Championship and compete for a spot in the national tournament in Grand Rapids."
SC4's volleyball program continues to build on its legacy, with this championship marking a major milestone in its pursuit of postseason success. Fans are encouraged to pack the Fieldhouse on November 1 to cheer on the Skippers as they aim to add another title to their impressive season.
