The win improves the Skippers to 11–8 overall and 2–2 in MCCAA Eastern Conference play, marking one of the program's most hard‑fought wins of the season.
SC4 showed poise throughout the tightly contested matchup, answering Wayne County's runs with timely shooting and clutch defensive plays. After the Wildcats forced overtime with a strong late push, the Skippers responded with decisive execution in the extra period to secure the win.
