Port Huron, MI - The St. Clair County Community College (SC4) Men's Basketball program is celebrating a standout season as five Skippers received recognition from the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) Eastern Conference. The awards highlight a season defined by growth, toughness, and team-first performance.
De'Andre Terrell capped an impressive year by being named Second Team All-Eastern Conference. Terrell's sophomore season was highlighted by averaging 13.8 points on 56.1% shooting, 7.2 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game.
Kevin Tiggs earned Third Team All-Eastern Conference honors after making an big impact for the Skippers as a transfer player. Tiggs contributed 12.3 points on 45.1% shooting and 5.8 rebounds a game.
Chris McLavish received dual postseason awards, being named to the Third Team All-Eastern Conference as well as the Eastern Conference All-Freshman Team. McLavish made an immediate impact in his first collegiate season, posting a team high 14.2 points per game to go along with 4.4 assists and 1.9 steals.
Jacob Asomani was recognized with Honorable Mention All-Eastern Conference and earned a spot on the prestigious Eastern Conference All-Defensive Team. Asomani established himself as one of the league's premier lockdown defenders, anchoring SC4's defensive identity.
Wasir James rounded out SC4's honorees with Honorable Mention All-Eastern Conference recognition. James consistently delivered key minutes, energy, and production off the bench and as a starter, proving his value across multiple roles.
The Skippers' strong postseason showing underscores the continued momentum within the program as it builds toward even greater success in the seasons ahead.
