PORT HURON, MI. —

PORT HURON, Mich. — October 20, 2025 — The SC4 women's basketball team is entering the 2025-26 season with national recognition, landing at No. 8 in the NJCAA Division II preseason rankings.

The ranking reflects the Skippers' strong finish last season, where they posted an impressive 28-7 record, and signals high expectations for the upcoming campaign. With a deep and talented roster led by an experienced coaching staff, SC4 is poised to build on its recent success and contend on both the conference and national stages.

"We're proud to be recognized among the top programs in the country," said Head Coach Mike Groulx. "It's a credit to the hard work our student-athletes have put in throughout the offseason. We're ready to compete and take the next step."

The Skippers tip off their season on Saturday, November 1, traveling to Lakeland Community College for a 3 p.m. matchup.
