PORT HURON, Mich. — St. Clair County Community College (SC4) women's basketball standout Sarrinah Ajami has been named the MCCAA Eastern Conference Player of the Week following a dominant performance in a key road victory.
Ajami powered the Skippers to a win at Lakeland Community College with a monster stat line: 28 points and 16 rebounds, showcasing her ability to impact the game on both ends of the court. Her scoring efficiency, rebounding presence, and leadership were instrumental in securing the win and earning her top honors across the conference.
"Sarrinah continues to set the tone for our team," said SC4 Head Coach Mike Groulx. "Her performance at Lakeland was a reflection of her hard work, competitiveness, and ability to rise to the moment."
The SC4 women's basketball team will be back in action when they host Muskegon Community College on Saturday, November 8. They will tip off at 1:00 p.m. with the men to follow.
