Port Huron, MI — The Skippers followed up Friday's win with a strong performance against Cuyahoga Community College, earning an 81-63 victory.
After trailing by 3 at the end of the first half, SC4 surged ahead in the second half, outscoring Cuyahoga 24-14 in the 3rd quarter, and never looking back. The Skippers' balanced attack and aggressive rebounding proved decisive.
Iliana Williams delivered another standout game with 24 points and 6 rebounds, shooting 11-of-18 from the floor. Myana Cooksey backed her up with 18 points and Kyrieona Carter had a big night scoring 17 while hauling in 19 rebounds and sending away 4 shots for good measure.
The Skippers now sit at 6-4 overall and will look to continue their winning streak into the new year.
